Chelsea have criticized a man during their clash with Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-finals.
The Blues are looking to retain their European trophy won in Portugal last campaign but already face possible defeat as they head into the 2-1 Champions League half-way tie at Stamford Bridge.
Karim Benzema gave his side the lead with a superb header after being flagged off by Vinicius Junior, before scoring an equally sumptuous goal seconds later, Luka Modric this time providing the supply.
KARIM BENZEMA ENOUGH THAT! π―
I had no right to write that down! ridiculous header π₯#UCL pic.twitter.com/jWtW2l1kcZ

Chelsea looked dead and buried, but Kai Havertz handed them a lifeline heading into halftime, nodding with a delightful cross past Thibaut Courtois to cut the deficit in half.
The Blues faithful, however, singled out one man for criticism.
Chelsea fans criticize Christensen
The man in question is Barcelona defender Andreas Christensen, who is out of contract at Stamford Bridge in the summer and struggled immensely against Vinicius Junior’s pace – and staying on his feet – in the first half.
And Chelsea fans were quick to turn on the Dane when they found themselves staring down the barrel of Champions League elimination just a quarter of the way through the draw.
Barca are going to terminate Christensen’s contract before it has even started after this performance.

That’s sensational from Benzema. Christensen is being killed out there.

I need azpilicueta and christensen out of this club at halftime

Christensen can go free now! Although with this type of performance against Madrid I doubt that Barça will want him, Shocking!
β Kristian Magill (@KristianMagill1) April 6, 2022
Christensen and Mason Mount should go home by halftime.
β Good Boyβ’ (@rockypalm) April 6, 2022
Christensen is playing as if he signed for Madrid…
β biryani_katu (@biryani_katu) April 6, 2022
Christensen needs to get off. Kovacic needs to get in.
β Allen (@RealAllenTV) April 6, 2022
Christensen can go to hell in Barcelona.
β Chris. (@EmenaIo) April 6, 2022
On the way to Madrid, we must leave Christensen in Barcelona
β CFCLeo_βοΈβοΈ (@CFC_Maniac) April 6, 2022
Need to get rid of Christensen in Spain for the second leg
β Raf (@CFC_Raf) April 6, 2022
Christensen. Pack your bags, makeup, and everything else.
β Dubois (@CFCDUBois) April 6, 2022
This is a Christensen horror show right now. Poor me.
-#8 (@Mxdiano) April 6, 2022
Christensen should not play for Chelsea again. He doesn’t have his head on. Put it in reserves
β Will (@willreyner) April 6, 2022
Vinicius is absolutely tearing Christensen apart here and has been from minute one.
-Simon Phillips (@siphillipssport) April 6, 2022
Christensen has been horrible
