Everyone is talking ahead of Week 32 of the Premier League is the potential title decider between Manchester City and Liverpool.
However, before that big game brings the curtain down on another weekend of action, there are plenty of other exciting matches to enjoy. There are a couple of downhill dog fights, a London derby and much more.
Here it is 90 minutes predictions for the week and links to each individual match preview.
Newcastle vs Wolves
Gameweek 32 kicks off on Friday night when Newcastle host Wolves at St James’ Park. After seemingly switching his stint with Eddie Howe, the Magpies have been struggling more recently.
Meanwhile, the Wolves are still in the hunt for the top six, but a lack of consistency could be their undoing in the Northeast.
Prediction: 1-1
Everton-Manchester United
Everton and Manchester United are two proud stalwarts of the English game, but both clubs have endured some pretty disastrous seasons.
The Toffees desperately need a result here, but 90 minutes I can’t see it happening in front of an expectant crowd at Goodison Park, even if United are missing some big names.
Prediction: 1-2
Arsenal v Brighton
Arsenal hope to bounce back from their damaging loss to Crystal Palace this weekend when they host Brighton.
The Gaviotas are also in terrible form, which should be enough to ensure Mikel Arteta’s side secure three vital points.
Prediction: 1-0
Southampton v Chelsea
Chelsea will resume their Premier League responsibilities on Saturday, just days after being assassinated at Stamford Bridge by Karim Benzema.
Southampton have been very hot and cold all season, and Thomas Tuchel was keen to warn his troops about just how threatening the Saints can be, especially at home. Chelsea should still win, but it won’t be easy.
Prediction: 1-2
Watford-Leeds
Watford host Leeds in a triple relegation match this weekend. Winning here for the Hornets could put them level on points with 17th-ranked Everton, depending on how the Toffees fare in their game.
Meanwhile, Leeds will be looking to move further away from danger by avoiding defeat for the fourth game in a row. 90 minutes think they will too.
Prediction: 1-1
Aston Villa v Tottenham
Tottenham seem to be kicking off at just the right time this season, and they start the game week above rivals Arsenal in fourth place on goal difference.
Their opponents on Saturday night, Aston Villa, have nothing to play for and Spurs should be able to get the job done with their added incentive.
Prediction: 0-2
Brentford-West Ham
This London derby – it takes almost an hour and a half to get between the two stadiums – comes on the heels of West Ham’s scoring 1-1 draw against Lyon on Thursday night, despite being reduced to 10 men.
Brentford’s relegation fears have eased in recent weeks, mainly thanks to Ivan Toney and Christian Eriksen. However, beating the determined Hammers might be a step too far.
Prediction: 1-2
Leicester vs Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace continue to defy their pre-season expectations, defeating Arsenal in their last game 3-0.
Next on their to-do list is Leicester, which has been buoyed by the returns of Wesley Fofana and Jonny Evans in recent weeks. They even got a clean sheet on Thursday night, and should secure a point here.
Prediction: 2-2
In the second relegation six-point shot of the weekend, Burnley made the trip to Carrow Road to face Norwich in front of the television cameras.
Loss here for the Canaries would pretty much be the rubber stamp of relegation to the second tier and Burnley will be full of confidence, having beaten Everton 3-2 in midweek. Away win for us.
Prediction: 0-1
Manchester City v Liverpool
Rightly so, headlining this week’s card is Man City vs Liverpool. The top two English teams are separated by just one point before the crucial clash and a win for either side could decide the title race…
Both starting XIs are nearly unbeatable, so this one will be settled by a very small margin, potentially in Pep’s favour.
Prediction: 2-1
