Player ratings as Dewsbury-Hall inspires Foxes to victory

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was the match winner for Leicester City on Sunday afternoon, registering a goal and an assist as the Foxes defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 at the King Power Stadium.

The result was that Brendan Rodgers’ side moved past Palace to ninth in the Premier League table, with the visitors failing to record a win before their big FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea on Sunday.

Leicester started strongly and seized the first chance of the match after five minutes. A well-weighted clip down the line from Luke Thomas freed Ademola Lookman, but the RB Leipzig loaner failed to convert from a tight angle.

Palace responded well as the first half wore on with the fit Jean-Philippe Mateta forcing a good save from Kasper Schmeichel after fooling the Foxes defense with some of the slowest passes of all time.

Just after the half hour mark, Youri Tielemans came close, folding a shot just outside the box.
