Supporters of Chelsea have flooded social media on Sunday afternoon, to make their frustrations with boss Thomas Tuchel clear.
The Blues, of course, were back in action a short time ago.
After stumbling to a 1-1 stalemate with Manchester United in midweek, Tuchel and co. made the trip to Goodison Park, eyeing a return to winning ways up against a relegation-battling Everton outfit.
When all was said and done, however, to say that such efforts on Chelsea’s part came up short would be putting it lightly…
Another disappointing display, during which the Pensioners were simply outfought by their hosts, ultimately culminated in Everton emerging on the right side of a 1-0 scoreline.
The game’s telling moment arrived less than a minute into the 2nd-half of action, as an uncharacteristic mistake on the part of Cesar Azpilicueta allowed Richarlison to nip in, before slotting beyond Edouard Mendy in confident fashion:
DEADLOCK BROKEN! 💥

‘The glue’
On the back of the action coming to a close on Merseyside, it should therefore come as little surprise to hear of the Chelsea faithful emerging in full force, to make their feelings known.
A whole host of the club’s stars have been singled out for criticism owing to disappointing individual displays, including the likes of Antonio Rudiger, Kai Havertz and the aforementioned Azpilicueta.
As alluded to above, though, none has been more widely targeted following the full-time whistle at Goodison than Blues boss Thomas Tuchel.
This comes owing to a host of tactical decisions made by the German over the course of the 90 minutes, not least the call to haul off Jorginho at the interval.
Taking to social media in their droves, Chelsea’s fans have slated their side’s boss for what has been identified as an unforgivable mistake, which essentially handed control of proceedings back to an Everton outfit in need of no invitation…
Jorginho hooked and our defensive structure is a fucking mess. Thanks a lot Tuchel

Jorginho was our defensive glue btw

Consistently pick Mount who has zero creativity. Take Jorginho off when we are in control of games. Tuchel has lost it please. Bye bye. Get me another coach.

There’s absolutely no way Tuchel watched this first half and thought yeah midfield is the issue so I’ll take Jorginho off who’s been our best player

We take Jorginho off and all of a sudden Everton are splitting us open. Why am I shocked. Horrible sub from Tuchel. Horrible horrible decision

Tuchel cost us this game. Why remove Jorginho

It’s pretty sad even Tuchel, Chelseas own manager doesn’t realize how important Jorginho is to the team ✌️✌️

Tuchel is to blame. How do you take Jorginho out? We were in control. Make he komot sef.
