Premier League heavyweights Liverpool have struck a deal to bring Fulham talent Fabio Carvalho to the club at the end of the campaign, it has been revealed.
The name of midfield star Carvalho, of course, took center stage in the headlines when it came to the developments at Anfield during the January transfer window.
This came as transfer bosses in the red half of Merseyside pressed hard for a deal with their Fulham counterparts, over a deal that would have seen the Portuguese put pen to paper on terms with Liverpool, before returning to Craven Cottage on loan for the rest of the campaign.
At one point late on deadline day, it was even widely reported that such a deal had been reached.
However, when the winter deadline came and went, it was later revealed that the transfer had ultimately collapsed, due to the required documentation not being submitted on time.

But, as mentioned above, on Thursday afternoon, a new update on the situation was received.
And it has proven to be totally significant.
According to a report by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Carvalho to Liverpool is now a done deal.
The 19-year-old is set to move to Anfield next summer, having undergone a medical in Merseyside with the blessing of his current employers.
This comes after a deal worth £5m, plus a potential £2.7m in bonuses, was struck between Liverpool and Fulham’s respective boards.
Carvalho is set to sign terms with Jurgen Klopp’s side until the summer of 2027, before being integrated into the Reds’ first-team setup for the 2022/23 campaign.

Fulham’s star shines bright
The latest news on Liverpool’s efforts to lure Carvalho to the club, of course, comes with the Portuguese in the midst of an excellent individual campaign.
Amid pressure from Fulham for a swift return to the Premier League, which currently appears well underway, the club’s talented midfielder, despite his tender age, has appeared in 30 starts in all competitions.
Not only that, but throughout these appearances, Carvalho has racked up an astonishing eight goals and seven assists.
