It’s a limited NBA roster Wednesday, only six games fill the card, but The Action Network’s Joe Dellera is zeroing in on a one-player support bet.
For his bet, Dellera is eyeing Chicago as the Boston Celtics visit the Bulls and their struggling defensive unit.
As for his prop bet, Dellera is targeting Celtics forward Jayson Tatum for over 2.5 3-pointers made in the contest.

“Since the All-Star break, Tatum is averaging 31.1 points per game on 50 percent shooting from the field and 41.3 percent shooting from center,” Dellera explains.
In terms of Tatum’s 3-point percentage alone, he’s seen him rise nearly 10 percent since the midseason break.
Additionally, the Bulls’ defense has posted below-average defensive metrics over the past two weeks. He was already allowing 113.4 points per 100 possessions, but that number has increased to more than 118 points per 100 possessions in the last 14 days.
Also, while the Bulls can limit teams’ attempts to three, he’s not necessarily forcing misses. The Bulls allow opponents to shoot 36 percent from distance, a mark that ranks in the bottom five of the league.
Although there is a fair amount of juice in Tatum’s proposition — he currently sits at -150 on BetMGM — he has punted it in 51 percent of all games this season and 66 percent of Celtics wins.

With that latest trend in mind, Dellera will also add the Celtics’ money line in a parlay of the same game. That brings the overall price down to +115 at both DraftKings and BetMGM, a price that Dellera is very intrigued by.
