Amber Heard Opens Up About Johnny Depp Lawsuit Ahead of Trial

With the latest lawsuit over her marriage to ex-husband Johnny Depp about to kick off, Amber Heard opens up about what’s to come on social media.

\In a recent social media post, amber heard talks about her upcoming trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp. In recent years, Heard has been in the news as much for her personal life, if not more, as her career. The actress currently stars in the DCEU as Mera, the female lead of the aquaman franchise; she will appear alongside Jason Momoa in the next year aquaman and the lost kingdom. At the same time, Heard remains frequently involved in lawsuits related to her controversial marriage to Depp. Heard first alleged that Depp had been abusive during her marriage in 2016, leading to a restraining order.

However, Depp has countered that Heard was actually the abusive party and has continued to fight for his innocence in several of the aforementioned lawsuits. Most notably, Depp sued the UK newspaper. Heard’s post has received an outpouring of love from his fanbase, but Depp has quite a following of his own. There’s been a lot of outcry over Warner Bros.’ decision to let Depp go fantastic beasts while keeping Heard involved with aquaman, and there have been calls to remove the actress from the DCEU. There has also been ongoing support for Depp’s most recent projects, however few they may be; for example, fans pushed the little-seen Minamata in third place for the recent Oscars fan favorite award.
